HIGH TECH ARCITECHTURE


Hotel de Arts  is one of Barcelona Spain’s tallest building standing  at 505’. It is a five star hotel managed by Ritz Carlton.  This intricate style structure was designed by  famous architects Bruce Graham and Frank O. Gehry, and was completed in 1994, though its dramatic design under construction already became famous by the 1992 during the Summer Olympics held in Barcelona.

High Tech Architecture style was used in designing and constructing of this Spanish Skyscraper. The style is also known as also known as Late Modernism or Structural Expressionism. High Tech Architecture is used to express the art and beauty of the buildings construction by displaying the structural role of the building. In this case, the use of "structural" steel is a stylistic or aesthetic matter that displays it’s organic skeleton-like design by Architect Santiago Calatrava.

Buildings designed in this style usually consist of a clear glass facade, with the building's network of support beams exposed behind it.

Second Life Builder Coyote Weezles captured this beauty and design in sculpt and mega prim by building a replica for 69 Park Ave & Company. Silexe Core has challenged Coyote by completing his Sim in the matching textures and style. At 69 Park Ave you will find a Business Center, Mall Store and Dome style club all complementing and looking very  professional.

 

 

 

 
Second Life Builder Coyote Weezles captured this  beauty and design of High Tech Architecture by using sculpted prims and mega prims to build a replica of this gorgeous structure for 69 Park Ave
 & Company. The building has fourten floors consisting of twenty suites in three spacious sizes. Owner of 69 Park Ave Sim Silexe Core has challenged Coyote to continue building other High Tech Style
structures to complement Hotel de Arts  in the matching textures and style. At 69 Park Ave now consist of a  Mall Store and Dome style club and you will find a
Business Center near completion all complementing and looking professional.

Lloyd’s is one of the icons of “High Tech” architecture, which describes the exploitation of a building’s structure and systems for aesthetic effect. Based on the idea that buildings are essentially big machines, High Tech emphasizes the idea of mechanism, and tries to make evident all the different parts that go into making a building work, rather than hiding them behind walls, as is usually the case. The Pompidou Center in Paris, from 1971-77, is also by Rogers, along with Renzo Piano, and is an evident precedent for Lloyd’s.

James Law brings high-tech solutions to large scale structures through innovative ideas for intelligent living. The latest future forward design from this firm is the Cybertecture Egg, commissioned by Vijay Associate (Wadhwa Developers) for Mumbai, India. The 32,000 sq m egg-shaped building will combine “iconic architecture, environmental design, intelligent systems, and new engineering to create an awe-inspiring landmark in the city.
